What is a Website Health Checker?

A website can be quietly broken in ways no one notices until customers do: an expiring certificate, a slow first byte, missing security headers, spoofable email. This check runs nine real probes and scores the results out of 100.

Every line in the report is a genuine measurement made just now — a TLS handshake, DNS queries, timed HTTP requests — never an invented "authority score". Each finding links to the specific tool that diagnoses it deeper.

How to use the Website Health Checker

  1. Enter your domain.
  2. Press Run Health Check — the probes take a few seconds.
  3. Read the score and the pass/warn/fail list; each item explains what to fix and links to the matching deep-dive tool.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is checked?

Availability over HTTPS, HTTPS/SSL validity and expiry, DNS address records, response time, redirect chain length, six security headers, and SPF + DMARC email authentication.

How is the score calculated?

Each check has a weight (availability weighs most). Full weight for a pass, half for a warning, zero for a fail — summing to 100. No black-box magic.

Is 76/100 good?

It means the fundamentals work but real issues exist — typically missing security headers or email auth. The list tells you exactly which and how to fix them.
