What is a Lorem Ipsum Generator?
Designs reviewed with real-looking text get feedback about design; designs with “test test test” get feedback about the words. Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin that reads like language without meaning anything.
Pick a paragraph count and copy: sentence lengths vary naturally so the rhythm looks like real prose.
Frequently asked questions
Where does lorem ipsum come from?
It is scrambled Cicero (De Finibus, 45 BC), used by typesetters since the 1500s.
Why not just use real text?
Real text pulls reviewers into reading and editing it. Placeholder keeps the review about layout and hierarchy.
Does it mean anything?
No: the scrambling removed the meaning, which is exactly the point.
Can I generate a specific word count?
Paragraph count is the control here; trim the tail to hit exact word counts.
